GETIDTYPE Tool

This tool determines whether an Internet-Draft file contains an active, expired, or published document. In case the file does not contain anything or does not exist, "empty" is returned.

Usage:

getidtype draft-foo-00.txt ...

Examples

  % getidtype draft-ietf-eap*.txt
  draft-ietf-eap-keying-07.txt:exists
  draft-ietf-eap-netsel-problem-03.txt:expired
  draft-ietf-eap-rfc2284bis-10.txt:published
  draft-ietf-eap-statemachine-07.txt:published
